Recent Activities
In November 2007 the Veterans Club, along with A &R’s Veteran’s Services and the Associated Student Council, helped sponsor and promote a Veteran’s Day event on the GateWay campus. The successful event culminated with a retreat ceremony by the Arizona Army National Honor Guard in which the Army presented an American flag to the daughter and grandchild of a recently deceased Viet Nam veteran who had served two tours. The flag was then passed along to the veterans and loved ones in attendance.
The club continues to take organize worthwhile projects and events to recognize those in service. See the contact information below to learn more about any other recent or upcoming events.
