The Student Association of Radiologic Technologists exists to promote education, fellowship and support for student radiologic technologists.  The club also aims to promote and to encourage collaborative relationships between GateWay students and others in the field of radiography and related health fields.

Membership

Membership is open to all students enrolled in the medical radiography program at Gateway Community College.

Recent Activities

The St.A.R.T. club recently raised $2,000 through cookie dough sales and used some of the money to sponsor an adopted family for the holidays.  The club has also been looking into volunteer activities at the Desert Botanical Garden, St. Mary’s Food Bank and St. Vincent DePaul. 

This year first and second year students of the club attended an annual volleyball game at Indian Bend Park in which about 70-80 people came to enjoy a bit to eat while enjoying the games.
